Accenture has been named as a defendant in over 90 lawsuits and federal court cases https://docketnexus.com/party/accenture-llp/?activity=meanin...

I would ask why the contractor needs access to the network.

That the pentagon did not do that from the start smells of security principles that have not been correctly applied.

Access granted should be limited and specific only for the reason required.

Lets face it, contractors in many other countries have done the same.

NSA probably detected this leak while going through openai data to datamine other countries :)

If they could give their AI Agent access, then by definition it wasn't a secure system.

DoD network access for two months

imagine what was copied off and to where eventually

hey you know how the DoD has never passed an audit

I bet "AI" could find the financial problems but they won't ever use it like that

It's the largest organization on the planet, with large rival and highly independent sub-organizations, some of its assets get blown up regularly, and some of those assets are highly classified. Congress is never going to give them the resources to do the largest accounting project in the history of the planet, either.

AI would either tell you it's an intractable problem, or make shit up.
