This sucks! I would really like to upgrade my PC memory, silly me thinking 64 GB was enough.
And I would love to build a home LLM server, but 10,000 is not in my budget right now.
Well, DDR3 is (still) cheap...
10,000? What budget GPU are you going to buy and what is the budget for the rest of the system?

The title just says “major memory vendor”. The person you’re replying to is saying that the memory vendor is SK Hynix.
I have 96GB of good RAM. I bought it around this time 3 years ago. Up around 550% when I checked the other day. If a stick dies, it dies. Very sad
Then make carbon-based RAM.
