The Monobloc is like that, except the polymer strands are smaller than you can see.

I think anyone who fabricates a chair like that should be forced to use it for a couples of days as a chair.
Is it actually strong though? The kinks in the bends look like they'd fold up completely under moderate pressure.
Am I the only one who thinks those look hideous?
