Replaced by native OS solutions (Windows Defender) and EDR (Crowdstrike, SentinelOne, etc). Anti-virus->Anti-malware.
edr was born because anrivirus couldn't tell when employees would unionize

EDR comes out of my budget, I see the value, how it’s leveraged is an org issue.
(pro organizing, pro union, anti worker surveillance)
