You have probably learned a great deal about what Apple calls "System Data". You have chosen to hoard that knowledge and use it to profit from selling a utility that some developers would share freely with others. Not interested.
You can feed their landing page into your favorite LLM to make your own vibe-coded version.
I especially like how an offline app has to periodically validate its license through polar.sh who themselves use personal data for advertising & marketing purposes, effectively turning the app into a paid tracking cookie.

Hi HN, I built DiskFox, a macOS app to help you see what's taking up disk space.
It offers a free trial, with a paid version if you'd like to continue using it.
I'd love general feedback on the app—how it looks, how it feels to use, and what you'd like to see improved. Happy to answer any questions.
Wow, this looks incredible!!!
