As an average that includes those who don’t use it at all?

So less than 15 min a day was all it took for some to self-harm?

You may be underestimating how unpopular AI is among the younger generation.

It may change in the months to come, but it’s astonishing to me how negative the outlook of Gen Z is on AI.

Just to be clear, Gen Z are not teens. It only takes one teen whose recent rise in popularity is attributed to adept AI use to get the trend to spread like wildfire.

I'd imagine smartphone restrictions at home and school may also have something to do with it.

Probably has something to do with it, but the outlook of AI among the younger generations have definitely been more negative.

It's not astonishing at all to me. It works poorly, yet businesses are trying to shove it in their faces at every opportunity. And on top of that, they get to listen to rich sociopaths talk about how they won't have jobs because of these AI tools. Why wouldn't they view it negatively? They don't have even a single reason to be positive on it.

If they are, it should be easy to uncover the truth: ask the parents of the teenagers how long their children use ChatGPT for each day.

      Or at least misleading.
