Wow this is the first time I've seen a real visible bug on HN.
I noticed this today as well, showing 15 but it seems short and it used to be paged.
I don't regularly check Ask HN so I'm uncertain that more should be listed, although I would expect so. But assuming you haven't, the correct place to contact is hn@ycombinator.com which can be found at the contact link at the bottom of the page.
It seems to be broken and showing non-Ask content. Bugs happen; email the site admins and they can fix it (footer Contact link).

I see 30 and a more button, even on a different browser incognito
I see 15 and no "more", even logged in.
Is it based on browser? I'm running Google Chrome.
I checked in Firefox and Duckduckgo
I guess it could make a difference whether you swear or ask nicely :)
Same and double checked and noticed I wasn't logged in so i logged in and I see still 30.
I also only see 15, logged in or not. And it is also showing some posts besides Ask/Tell.
I never use this section, though.

Looks like someone vibecoded and pushed without a review. Been observing too many bugs across X, Cursor etc
Vibecoding on hn admin plane would be ironic but I think it's improbable
