And this is why the only Samsung products I have are RAM and SSDs.
And the SSDs are backed up daily.
Samsung should not have gotten into appliances. They seem to be singularly terrible in that field. No-one else comes even close to their level of incompetence.

You say that, but I have been trying to find a non-smart TV for months, Consumers don't always have much choice.
Refrigerators aren't (yet, anyway) one of those appliances where there's no choice.

They've been making refrigerators since 1974, far longer than they've been making RAM and SSDs.
Out of 10 different SSD make and model I have in use around the house, the only one I ever had problems with were Samsung.
