Will I ever observe any entity banning what really matters?

Anything non-FOSS is just wrong. Banning some specific device or some specific service is wrong in so much of ways. That ape-with-tied-eyes blocking make the parents both use to consider the FOSS as another product of the same league and to consider some competing product as product that works.

Wake up, voters, federals do it because they are going to enslave your tomorrow more than today. And you are just eating what was given to you on the end of the shovel.

We don't have to choose between a world without open source software or a world without privacy, but if we did, I'd enthusiastically choose the former.

        ...and lose both.

Even if these were open source smart glasses they would be a creepy surveillance device.

If it would be really FOSS (not like Android) your statement is a lie.

Why? There can't be an open source app to enable the camera without the light?

because the user will be able to install another OS written by any John Doe without troubles with drivers. Haven't you acknowledged about the Four Freedoms?

              How does that prevent creepshots?
