Using browser history is a pretty bad way to handle changing the figurine. I don't want to use the back button a dozen times to exit the exact same page I've been on the whole time.
I've always found it kinda annoying when using a SPA for a bit and wanting to go one page back and then getting taken out of the whole site. If I want to close a site I usually close the whole tab. Maybe its just wanting what you are used to and now the SPA way is the "default" for most people?
