Quite a while ago, SEPA payments were commission-free only when amount 12500 euro or less.
I've heard an anecdote from a friend who worked for a notary at the time, and apparently people were chopping up payments buying for example a house, into a whole bunch of 12500 chunks, just to avoid paying commission.
Why is there a fee at all? This is all sponsored by taxes anyway.
Regime-aligned media such as von der Leyen's euronews should be marked as such.
Is it still exclusive to stupidphones if you want to pay online?
so multiple tiny payments instead of a big one to avoid the fees?
