I'm one of the JupyterGIS maintainers. Quickest way to see what this release is about - this is a story map built with it, and it's the announcement itself: https://notebook.link/@martinRenou/jupytergis-announcement

If anyone is on mobile, that site chews through data in no time.

Originally I was going to comment that there's no need for a blog when you've got this nice notebook format, but having clicked your link I can see why you have both -- it takes forever to load the notebook. Are you hoping to get that load time down in the future? It would be nice to do away with the markdown blog entirely.

      That's quite impressive!

Love this and as a fellow GIS software traveler I’ll share optional guidance that ESRI has trademarked that term for a very similar product. Might be worth thinking about alternative naming ideas.

I really like the idea of a grammar of graphics for maps but I wish it wasn't a scroll-based presentation.

Another example of story-maps that can be built using JupyterGIS: https://notebook.link/@martinRenou/earthquakes-story-map

Has anyone integrated these story maps with Drupal? OR maybe another CMS?
