I don't think there are many people who believe "Iran are the good guys."
Lots of people do understand that bombing civilian infrastructure, killing innocent civilians, and taking actions that were inevitably going to lead Iran to respond with the goal of inflicting widespread economic damage has in many ways actually helped and emboldened the Iranian regime.
This wasn't just "unfortunate" and "ill-conceived". It was stupid and arguably criminal.

Iran is the only country that has retaliated against Israel. They literally bombed Tel Aviv and multiple other targets in Israel. They also support Hezbollah (also fighting Zionism and defending Palestinians).
