    I bet the impacts of the first AI native generation are going to be really weird, because I agree with this framing.

    It can be interesting to talk about issues with AI, but it really does keep redirecting you to the median version of the argument. You can push back on that, but reading AI is this constant battle against regression to the mean.

    For people who spent their formative years interacting with AI, I’m curious if it will change something of the generational personality to be regressed to the mean. Don’t rock the boat. Both sides everything. Never accept a conclusion always push back.

    Growing up with PageRank search felt so, so much different than whatever the hell we get with Google now, which is almost certainly overtuned to some crap metrics that some software engineers are getting paid good for and getting promoted over because they measured some crap that doesn't matter. Such a shame.
