    Obviously a hanko is itself a tool of the paper age. And IIRC the hanko is the reason faxes have lasted in Japan as long as they have.

    I want to read the article describing this workflow —- where it makes sense to use hanko in excel.

    I’m thinking about the titanic shift in document versioning systems following programming (software managed versioning. Ie. git)
