Much of the material they were sent, including a funeral wreath and a book on surviving the loss of a spouse, suggested imminent death. The security team was on the verge of breaking into the Steiners’ garage to put a tracker on their car when the plot was derailed.

    I guess this is why the settlement is so large. These actions are beyond the pale.

    About time. Been hearing about this story for years. Apparently Devin Wenig contributed $2 million of the settlement, but I'd prefer to see him behind bars, too.

    Glad that the ebay execs who did this got prison sentences. I really wonder what kind of environment could make six high-ranking people think this was acceptable.

      what??? The execs didn't, they settled for $56m. The security team plead guilty and did go to prison.
