Title here seems misleading. The company intends to use the same Rust backend it made for their SQLite compatible project on a Postgres compatible project, making a sort of universal database engine with different front ends.
Should be easy with one prompt to an agent, right?
Basically let turso “speak” postgres protocol?
In a way it’s not new, iirc cockroachdb does something similar
