I'm running a pirated version of Word 2010 and Excel 2010 because I think everything newer is just too bloated. But you can't buy these anymore and there's no way to legally buy a license.
Microsoft still has OneDrive and Cloud access with the pirated version of Office and Windows. Still, when Windows 11 is no longer being supported, I'm switching to Linux.

They've been on GitHub for 7+ years. Microsoft clearly don't mind too much.
