What was wrong with the original title? UK sets out $1.5 billion AI hardware plan with supercomputer, chip funding
Does $1.5B even count as a plan? I don't think you can even build a capable enough data center for that amount given hardware prices today
China is doing 200x that before we consider PPP, and iirc Google is coming in around 200x on their own as well
