Post title misses the "AI datacenters" component.
Of course OpenAI will ignore or downplay the real grassroots dissent. Data centers are approximately as desirable to live near to as landfills.
Title is too long to include both so the submitter probably cut it off (I tried submitting it myself)
Why would China need to foment dissent over tariffs? Everyone should already be infuriated by adding an unasked for and unnecessary tax on already expensive “everything”.
