If GPS weren’t so universally available and precise, TPMS systems could be employed to read and record road section forces as location identifiers.

Theoretically you could do it with just wheel rotation data which wouldn't change conditions frequently like roads might. There's probably only one spot in the world where you can start driving, go around a somewhat circular road for 430 feet, have a left turn and go 251 feet, right turn and go 3451 feet

FYI, the “?si=*” part of your link is what Google uses to track you, you can just remove it.

Oh my bad, thanks for letting me know. I usually edit out manually, slipped my mind.

Yeah, was much disappointed when I took a detour with the family on a road trip to explore this one.

It's a really cool concept, but this article has a misleading clickbait title that really turns me off. Could this post be renamed?

Headline and page is clickbait [organic] slop. Better source: https://route66musicalroads.com/

After having listened, I think it would sound better up an octave (60 MPH).

When I read the headline, I immediately thought of this game: https://store.steampowered.com/app/231200/Kentucky_Route_Zer...

Where I grew up as a kid, we had what was called singing bridges. There were 2 maybe 3 of them crossing the river. There were steel grates where water and snow would fall trough to the river below. When yo drove over the bridge you would hear a hum.

I the 90s they replaced these bridges with pavement. That was a bit sad to see, but that is what you get when cities fix everything in the cheapest possible way.
