Under the hood, what does Hyperdrive actually do? How does this navigate NAT, etc?

Can you explain how it passes through firewall and lands on a somewhat listening socket on the remote, without being abused meanwhile ?

Great utility! Wonder if this can pause and resume the transfer as well? Haven't tried this yet. Just read through the repo.
pause and resume does not work yet, but I am planning to add it in the future
