LOL, reminds me of when we had bonuses tied to test coverage at a company and one enterprising dev wrote a single test that flagged as 100% coverage.

I'm also bummed. My company shutdown the money burning pit due to fire safety concerns

I give it 2 days before ours is shutdown. Just enough time for this to get on linkedin and make the rounds.

I'm sure this was obvious to anyone who would sit down and think about it for more than the 30min it took to vibe code the leaderboard.

I just really dislike this follow whatever FAANG is doing pattern that the C-Suite have adopted with such urgency. Maybe this is just my age showing but I remember folks used to say "well we aren't facebook/google/amazon and what works for them might not work for our industry, we have to think this through".

Hopefully they promoted the cheaters - those are the folks showing drive, initiative, and the will to win.

Shouldn't have made it a game if they didn't want people to make use of the new rules.

Exactly - hate the game, not the player!

Good time for Anthropic and crew to make their public filings before the token fires get extinguished.

The emperor really has no clothes. How do these morons get into exec positions?

I can think of few better examples of why a new "service" is not actually servicing, than that management has to gamify its adoption.
