    I've never understood why schools don't install a good adblocker extension like uBlock Origin through MDM on their devices. My school had some terrible, probably closed source adblocker, that didn't even work, and still got blocked/detected all the time by anti-adblock scripts. And it didn't even block most ads, you get to see the ads, and still be blocked by the anti-adblock.

    I appreciate the parental movement to ban technology in schools. Better they focus on that, which will actually be effective at preventing young people from accessing harmful content, rather then regulating identity for adults on the open web to help governments suppress dissent.
