Saying it combats inflation since it helps keeps prices down is just genius. I mean not even top tier economists could have seen that unique absolute genius take coming. Impressive!!!

There's really no way to tell if an ad is accurate or not just from the ad. AI or not. Not a new thing. Bagels might have been 10% smaller on one day. Who knows. Why even bother reading ads.

    > There were a few people who went in to defend us, saying, "Look, they're a small business. They just wanted to be more creative." I appreciate those comments, but certainly the negative responses were much more.

Sounds like the 99% want good bagels and honesty, not a "more creative" social media presence.

The shop owner is an absolute moron. His entire brand is about authenticity and being a genuine hometown business. They could’ve made content just by filming themselves making their bagels every morning.

AI marketing is mostly used by businesses that barely exist, like direct-to-consumer Instagram scam brands. I can’t imagine how you could be so clueless that you’d want to join that group when you have a real brick and mortar business.

He’s probably really busy making bagels, managing employees and the physical store/s, and keeping track of the finances. And seems like he might not be too artistically-media inclined, i.e. he had part-time workers (students) managing his social media previously.
