As a California citizen, the list of people backing Mahan disqualify him as someone I would ever vote for.

I'd much rather vote for a billionaire spending significant sums of his own money to get elected on a progressive platform (Steyer) than someone who is owned by several other billionaires, many of whom have become Trump-adjacent since 2024 (Mahan).

Tom indeed is on the "progressive side", but do you think he actually has the capacity and capability to run an actual government? He has only sat in fund offices and wrote checks to private prison companies. I sincerely doubt his capabilities of running an actual government without doing irreversible slop damages because sometimes actions are irreversible. BTW, Tom is claiming that he will prosecute ICE, which i think is good thing. Don't get me wrong, I am 100% on the progressive side. What I am claiming is that he has a conflict that is yet to be resolved: claiming to prosecute ICE and have funded the actual infrastructure for ICE to detain people. He IS AVOIDING THIS ISSUE.
