I somehow missed this when it was posted as a 'Show HN' a few weeks ago: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=47425646
Until recently I was using MacWhisper (a paid app that originally used Whisper but now also supports Parakeet).
But OpenOats (i) displays the transcript in real-time rather than at the end of the call, and (ii) has a simpler and less confusing UI.
I've used it only for one meeting so far, and it did a good job with that one.
My first reaction was to hate it, thinking it would inevitably lead to more participation credit takes.
OTOH, maybe if used responsibly it could surface relevant, appropriate suggestions at the time of conversation, rather than in a follow-up email.
As a technical project, it's cool.
