Kiwi Farms users are not anonymous. They are, at best, pseudonymous. There is comment history associated with their online identities. Some use their real names, although the extent this can be verified is questionable and undoubtedly some are impersonators.
Overall, I don't buy the slippery slope arguments of RTN and EFF here.

It always surprises me that Hacker News of all places tends to defend Kiwi Farms.
The place basically exists for the purposes of doxxing and organizing targeted harassment. Supposedly they have rules against it, but they're enforced with the same energy as Willy Wonka telling people not to do things (https://youtu.be/uVdDXeYM4ss).

The guy running KF had to speedrun the entire domain of cybersecurity just to run a shitty PHP forum that lets people say things like "men are not women" without getting doxxed and targeted for harassment by histrionics with a vested interest in validating their own cult beliefs to the contrary. You people have even gone after his mother. You insist you're the good guys. Lol.
He's no different than The Pirate Bay or Silk Road--one man against a global force of psychopaths with state backing, that refuses to back down in spite of their threats. This is what the hacker spirit is about. The man is a legend.
You can point to Kiwi Farms and accuse it of anything you want to. They make it easy by having a domain name, transparency, and infrastructure to target. It's much harder to do the same to the clandestine network of Discord channels your own tribe uses to orchestrate the very attacks you accuse KF of, and you know it, which is why you engage in these sorts of smear campaigns against them.
The Talmud (Kiddushin 70b) teaches us that one who stigmatizes another is guilty of the same.
In the west, we understand this to mean "every accusation is a confession."

If you’re not familiar, kiwi farms is a forum for some of the worst people alive. Doxxing, swatting, and harassing people to the point of suicide - that kind of stuff.
Which is not to say they are right or wrong in the issue of copyright being used to unmask anonymity. But generally speaking: fuck these people.
