Currently pursuing a Post-Baccalaureate in Computer Science at Oregon State University and working at the university's Security Operations Center and as a Research Assistant for robotics-related projects. My current duties include:
I'm a CTO, expert engineer, and data professional interested in team-building, consulting and architecting data pipelines. At Edmunds.com, I worked on a fairly successful ad-tech product and my team bootstrapped a data pipeline using Spark, Databricks, and microservices built with Java, Python, and Scala.
At ATTN:, I re-built an ETL Kubernetes stack, including data loaders and extractors that handle >10,000 API payload extractions daily. I created SOPs for managing data interoperability with Facebook Marketing, Facebook Graph, Instagram Graph, Google DFP, Salesforce, etc.
More recently, I was the CTO and co-founder of a gaming startup. We raised over $6M and I was in charge of building out a team of over a dozen remote engineers and designers, with a breadth of experience ranging from Citibank, to Goldman Sachs, to Microsoft. I moved on, but retain significant equity and a board seat.
I am also a minority owner of a coffee shop in northern Spain. That I'm a top-tier developer goes without saying. I'm interested in flexing my consulting muscle and can help with best practices, architecture, and hiring.
Would love to connect even if it's just for networking!
SEEKING WORK | Data Scientist / Consultant | Canada/Remote Worldwide
I'm a data scientist with over 20 years of experience specializing in solving hair on fire problems.
I thrive on gnarly problems AI can't complete even if walked through the problem step-by-step. Often it involves getting hands on or talking with staff to find the data that's really needed.
My past work includes:
- Saving a German automaker from lemon law recalls.
- Helping a major cloud vendor predict server failures to enable load shedding.
- Real-time on demand routing logistics work .
- Airline flight delay forecasting.
- Oil & Gas forecasting.
- Shipping piracy risk.
- Wound identification and classification.
- Revenue optimization, persona identification and dynamic "risk-on/risk-off" risk management for ARM.
I'm currently working on (semi) automating the DS loop, building workflows on top of BMAD method AI workflows. I say semi, because some problems you simply must get out of the office and speak with people or find data the AI doesn't have access to. Many problems will have e2e solves in an automated fashion.
I’m looking for my next opportunity to build great products and services, especially in the Seattle area. I’m a Senior Engineer with experience across DevOps, backend, and infrastructure, and I’ve worked at both startups and larger companies. I also enjoy building strong teams and mentoring younger engineers.
Hi, I'm Jonathan. I’m currently doing DevOps work for an open source project, operate a small web hosting company, and working as an accounting assistant for a local firm. My skillset is focused on the DevOps side, with a bit of general dev experience primarily with Python. I have a PhD in Physics with my research focus being computational biophysics. On the side I also host my own infrastructure as a hobby, from the hardware to the nameservers and everything in between.
Having worked at startups before, I’m comfortable wearing many hats (and enjoy the variety).
I'm happy at my current job with the Hakai Institute, but programs are shrinking and it's looking like days are numbered. I'd love to connect with people doing interesting things.
Lately I'm deep in the spaces between data science and engineering reliable, high-performance, resilient, yet highly-usable tools for scientists and other developers, across the stack. It's a lot of fun.
I'm also very interested in harness development and creating more deterministic agents with safety and behaviour guarantees. It's an awesome learning experience.
My work experience is diverse, ranging from SaaS to science to a bit of robots, and I'm interested in just about anything so long as it's genuinely useful, challenging, and the team is excited about it.
Software engineer focused on cloud infrastructure, developer tooling, and AI-powered applications. Career changer; practiced law for several years before switching to engineering full-time.
Most recently I worked at Mastra, an open-source TypeScript framework for AI agents and workflows. I built the PostHog and Datadog observability exporters bridging OpenTelemetry spans with AI analytics, implemented the Azure OpenAI provider with OAuth2 token caching, and resolved critical state propagation issues in Model Context Protocol (MCP) workflows.
I also created Nimbus (https://nimbusnlp.github.io/), an open-source framework that simplifies deploying lightweight NLP models to AWS. TypeScript CLI + AWS CDK to automate provisioning of serverless infrastructure (Lambda via Docker). Takes what used to be 35+ manual steps down to a single command.
I also built RAGCast, a full-stack RAG application that lets users query and get context-aware answers from podcast transcripts using OpenAI, LangChain, and pgvector.
Previously contributed to Mozilla Firefox, enabling extension developers to manually trigger update checks for faster delivery of security patches, with safeguards to prevent keyboard shortcut conflicts.

Hi. My name is Josh and I have spent over twelve years of my fourteen year career in DevOps and automation.
In my early career, I maintained legacy build and delivery systems while transitioning organizations to modern tooling. At my most recent role, I built those same systems and production infrastructure from the ground up, while simultaneously finding and filling unidentified organizational gaps: legal compliance, IT, and customer support.
My experience spans IC work, legacy system ownership, and greenfield development, in close collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. I am ready to lead teams and grow the engineers within them.
If you're looking for a technical leader to head up your DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure/Platform team, or to shape engineering at the organizational level, I have the experience and the tenacity to get it done.

As a former Meta and Deel engineer, I focused on building web apps using technologies like React, Python, and PHP. However, at my last company, I focused on developing a mental health app by integrating AI technology. Having worked at startups for the past four years, I've become highly skilled at building products from scratch and can support development at every stage of the product development cycle.
With more than 10 years of software development experience, I have developed a strong foundation in cyber-security, web development, machine learning, and cryptocurrency/blockchain. My background in Astronomy and Astrophysics (H. BSc and MSc) has provided me with strong analytical, mathematical, programming, and communication skills.
In the cyber-security domain, I have spent four years mastering Golang, PostgreSQL, Grafana, and GitHub Actions. At Arctic Wolf, I was a team lead for the past two years, where I managed five developers. I guided the team on a modularization project of our end-point Agent, and where I managed the biannual release cycle of our software. My back-end web development experience spans five years, where I have worked with Node.js/PHP/Golang, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Docker/Docker-Compose. I also have more than a decade of experience in scientific programming, using FORTRAN, C/C++, Python and Bash.
Some of the work I am most proud of includes the parallelization of the SWIFT numerical integrator, a ML document classifier for OCR text, my contributions to the Bitcoin code base, and my entry in the 2016 Halite AI Challenge where I ranked in the top 3%. To see my ML portfolio, visit: huggingface.co/spaces/ccapo/portfolio
Outside of my professional career, I am passionate about pushing the boundaries of my personal projects. Currently, I am building a high-altitude balloon equipped with a Raspberry Pi and an Arduino. I also enjoy crafting rogue-like video games, blending creativity with interesting game mechanics. For a glimpse of my work, visit: github.com/ccapo

I'm a Master's student at NYU with roughly 3 years of prior experience on Commvault's Virtualization team, where I built distributed data protection systems for virtualized environments (VMware, Huawei, etc.)
Currently, I'm a part of NYU's Secure Systems Lab, contributing to both Lind-Wasm and SBOMit (OpenSSF). On Lind, I focus on designing and optimizing core components of a POSIX-compliant, memory-safe kernel microvisor. With SBOMit, I work on extending traditional Software Bill of Materials by incorporating build-time data for greater accuracy and insight. I've presented this work at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon (NA 2025), and it has also been accepted as a talk at PyCon (US 2026).
I'm open to a broad range of software engineering roles, with a strong preference for systems and low-level work.
~18 YoE across backend development, DevOps/SRE/platform engineering, and many other hats. Name drops include Red Hat (quay.io), Rackspace (internal tooling), and Equinix Metal/Packet (platform engineering). Also went through NSF's I-Corps startup program in the early 2010s, so I'm relatively business-aware.
I left my last full-time role in November to go all-in on freelance work and solo projects (homesteading, indie game dev). Now taking on project-based or fractional engagements. No staff augmentation or pager duty.
I bounce between architecture/systems design and hands-on implementation. Looking to build long-term relationships.
Side note: I've used Go professionally and am currently enjoying Rust, but compared to my depth with Python, I won't pretend to be a specialist in either. I'd love projects that push me toward more low-level systems programming or are tangent to my homestead (future sensors/IoT) and Game Dev interests.

- I have 8 years of professional software engineering experience spanning large defense contractors, small startups, and most recently running a small development consultancy.
- In my current role, I've worked on a wide range of projects including backend systems, mobile applications, data pipelines and predictive modeling, and many production applications built around Ethereum.
- For the past two years I've also been doing ML research focused on mechanistic interpretability and LLM evaluations.
- Open to general SWE, ML/AI engineering, or anything in between. Full-time or contract both work for me. My contact info is on the resume site.
I'm Ben Trettel, an experienced mechanical engineer with a PhD, specializing in computational fluid dynamics, design optimization, and verification & validation of computer simulations.
I am particularly interested in opportunities to build cutting-edge physical products where computational simulation and design optimization are key.
I’m currently active as a senior engineer, software architect, and entrepreneur. Having nearly a decade of experience working with startups and larger, established companies. I provide everything from short architecture reviews to hands-on implementation and full technical ownership.
Recent work includes the design, implementation, and operational ownership of a distributed system for a venture capital platform, as well as the creation and maintenance of a survey fulfillment platform. Both engagements involved mentoring and coordinating multiple engineers. More details can be found at https://robinsiep.com.
I’m primarily looking for contract work, but am also open to a longer-term position with the right fit.
Feel free to reach out at contact [at] robinsiep.com. I’m always happy to talk with others in the industry.
Finishing up a CS master's this semester, and looking for opportunities starting in the late summer or fall. I have experience as a full-stack (or fullstack, or full stack, whatever people ctrl-f for) developer as part of an intern/consultant position where I worked directly with customers to deliver features across databases/cloud infrastructure/web API integrations/frontends. I've also mostly-independently bootstrapped a commercial music production plugin (Pivotuner, more info on my website).
Open to most anything! I'm a fan of functional programming/programming language theory/compilers, currently doing research in logic/relational programming. I also have a background in music (I'm a published composer!) so particularly interested in audio/music-related stuff as well.
In general I'm trying to figure out what to do next, so would be up to connect regardless of hiring-related stuff!

Hi, I'm Harry Altman! I was the maintainer of Truffle Debugger (https://github.com/ConsenSys-archive/truffle/tree/develop/pa...), a Solidity smart contract debugger, for 5 years. I eventually ended up writing my own decoding and encoding libraries to support it, as well as a bunch of other things.
I'm good at this sort of nitpicky work, spotting and thinking about edge cases. I like getting things exactly right, even though that obviously isn't always possible due to various constraints. I've been kind of wondering if I should get into embedded development; I find it appealing when things are low-level or similarly constrained. I've beaten Microcorruption. :) (The original levels, I haven't played the new ones.)
I'm also quite interested in unusual or obscure data formats, and working on Truffle Debugger and its associated libraries certainly involved a bunch of having to figure undocumented formats and interfaces. :) I put down above what languages I've worked substantially in but I'd say I'm a generalist and will figure out whatever you give me (I knew approximately no Javascript, Typescript, or Solidity when I started working at Consensys).
I'm a mathematician by background and in my spare time, so after the Truffle Debugger project was shut down I took some time off to focus on my mathematical projects, including old ones I've been shepherding through publication. But now I'm looking for work again! If you need someone like me, I'm available for hire!

Just a note, if you do leetcode questions in your interviews (you might call them data structures and algorithms) I am not interested.
I do not do well on them. Case in point I just finished an interview where I ran out of time computing the mode of an array - something I was unfamiliar with. It's not that I couldn't have figured it out but the time pressure got to me and it went downhill from there - we ran out of time for the second part of the interview (I will also say we probably spent to long on the intros part making the time pressure even worse).
It doesn't mean I don't know how to write software, something I've been doing for almost 45 years!

Hi, my name is Alec and I build infrastructure and glue systems together. I have completed projects ranging from writing backend application code to building out idempotent infrastructure. I'm looking to branch out into more formal SRE roles as well. If you're worried about the state of your infrastructure, or your developers spend too much time mucking with infrastructure versus feature work, OR if you have no idea what I'm even talking about, then I am certainly going to be a help on your team.
Software engineer with 30+ years building production-ready business applications and 3+ years as a core database engineer building high-performance RDBMs.
Founder and principal engineer of small ISV with a long track record of owning complex systems end-to-end, from low-level design to production reliability.
Driven to learn new domains quickly and choose the simplest effective architecture, tools and paradigms for each problem.
I'm a data scientist with more than 15 years experience who has worked with major automakers, shipping companies, and F100 companies, I'm looking for my next project. An ideal fit is a small/medium company with green or brownfield problems that need solving.
I'm skilled at building from 0 to 1, I normally do what is now called data engineer, data scientist, and machine learning engineer as one person. My work usually involves finding non-traditional datasources - Once it was USDA data for rural community demographic enrichment, Several times it was getting hands on with people or equipment. If we work together I'll do what I need to in order to solve the problem.
Technologies/techniques: Machine learning/AI, LLM's/RAG, All the tools surrounding ML and AI, A whole host of others.
Contact me if you have a tough challenge I can gnaw on.
Technologies: Full stack web dev for over a decade, in recent years been focused on hobby game development projects using Babylon JS/WebGL and working with C++ and Go server-side (for multiplayer stuff). Many years of project and product management as well.
I have some cool projects! See my personal site for email and some of those projects:
Coolest recent one is probably https://www.idlequest.net/, which is an idle-game web-based version of classic EverQuest, complete with its original 3D graphics in-browser and a real-time MMO server!
Looking largely for product engineering positions, or project/product management style work. Have done both and enjoy both a lot.

Infrastructure and backend engineer with a low-level systems background. Last 3 years as the sole or one of very few infra engineers at early-stage startups - owning everything from VPC topology to CI/CD to on-call.
Currently building cloud infrastructure for a GPU neocloud (H100/H200) from scratch. Before that, sole platform engineer at an autonomous driving research lab, and before that SRE at a YC-backed video comms startup (acquired by a major cloud provider) managing 20+ Kubernetes clusters across AWS and GCP.
On the systems side - wrote a custom Karpenter provider in Go for a cloud provider, a C++ initramfs to run Gentoo on bare-metal Android phones with Android userland in LXC (GSoC 2020), and ADAS software on Android using Cap'n Proto + ZeroMQ + LMDB serving 275+ vehicles.
Also wrote bin (github.com/wantguns/bin), a self-hostable pastebin in Rust with 300 stars. Outside of work I maintain a multi-continent server mesh across Hetzner, Oracle Cloud and bare-metal, all declared in a public Nix flake (source - https://github.com/wantguns/dotfiles, blogs -https://wantguns.dev/tags/yakshaving)
Hi there! I'm Vivian. I'm a software engineer with 5 years of experience across full-stack web and desktop application development.
At Intel, I led a small team to ship a new hardware component framework for Platform Designer, an electronic design automation tool used by all of Intel's FPGA customers. One concrete win: improved UI response time by 9.8x by profiling 150+ API methods to find opportunities for optimizations.
At a recent early-stage startup, I refactored custom field creation to be database-driven rather than JSON file-based, so business could create fields directly, without waiting on engineering.
I'm looking for a strong engineering team where I can own problems end-to-end.
Like this Ask HN: Recommend employers with positive social impact [https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=31518945], I am looking for similar work, but I am open to work on any interesting project. I am a European software developer who has lived and worked on four continents. Now it's time to move on and so I am in the process to relocate to Africa.
I have more than a decade of experience running a company, doing software development, support and training and mentoring adults and students, as well as working on educational projects, and I am willing to take on a mixture of roles as needed to support a project.
I value good teamwork over fancy tech, and I don't shy away from working on legacy code. I am primarily motivated by solving problems, so let me help you solve your problems.
I am open to work for a company anywhere as long as the work can be done fully remote from Africa.
While I could find a job elsewhere I believe that the experience living in an area where my work is going to have an impact gives me a better understanding of the needs of the location I am serving. Whether it is through direct contact with clients and users or just by being part of a local community and learning about the reality of living there.
In addition, I want to use some of my income to hire local interns and junior developers and train them in order to pass on my experience. I also sponsor children that otherwise can't afford to go to school (see my website). If you want to support this, I would love to work with you. Also if you are interested in hiring African developers yourself. I can help you build up a team for you.

I am open to other engineering roles, but I am mainly looking for engineering roles (or hybrid science/engineer roles) that focus on supporting scientists or scientific organizations. For the last ten years, I have bounced between working as researcher and engineer, and I have a track record of helping scientists write better code (and build better machine learning models). Most recently, I have been part of a team working on a GenAI system. My focus has been on (1) testing to guarantee the model continues to support critical customer needs, and (2) systems that override the model output to increase reliability and consistency for the end users.
I love helping scientists automate the repetitive parts of their work while allowing the flexibility necessary for experimentation.
Over ten years as an engineer and team lead at startups.
Product-minded, design experience, and always in product teams.
Most recently I was Engineering Manager and Technical Product Owner at Skribble (Switzerland, remote). Setting architecture direction, owning the roadmap, and staying hands-on with the team building the core product.
Before that I was the first Berlin hire at super.AI in 2018, where I built their customer-facing data labeling platform.
On the side I'm building a hardware/software ecosystem around the electric bass: AI-generated real-time DSP, OpenCV-based TUIs, DevEx.
Hi, I'm a Staff engineer with 14+ years of experience. Spent the last 8.5 years building an early stage startup and following it through acquisition. I supported the post-acquisition transition by training and mentoring offshore engineers and helping maintain continuity as the company shifted from startup execution to standardized enterprise delivery.
My background spans backend engineering, infrastructure, and security, with hands-on work in Python, Rust, and TypeScript. I maintain open source projects and contribute when I can to core Rust projects such as Clap and Cargo. I’m a good fit for teams that need pragmatic execution and someone comfortable owning hard problems across systems, platform, and DevSecOps.

I work on high-throughput systems, especially when they’ve grown into a state where migrations, performance, or schema design have become limiting factors.
Recent work:
Re-architected two multi-terabyte OLTP tables (~2TB and ~1TB) receiving 200+ writes/sec. I focus on “rescue architecture” work: fixing dangerous schemas, stabilizing hot paths, removing app-level complexity, and making Postgres scale without rewriting the product.
Open to consulting or full-time roles where data is core to the business and performance/architecture matters.

Hi, I'm Michael Geary. I've programmed in many languages and environments over the years. Some of my current interests are:
• Developer experience. I love helping my fellow developers solve problems, and building tools to make their jobs easier and more enjoyable.
• Aviation and geographic data. For example, airspace and obstacle data importers for Wing; election results and voter information maps for Google; many interactive maps for other companies.
• Hardware interfacing. In a way, I am a "full stack" developer, but my stack may involve a front end to a piece of hardware rather than the cloud. I first got into programming via ham radio, so RF hardware remains an interest.
• Designing and building APIs. Too often an API is designed by exposing the internals of whatever system provides the API. My philosophy is the opposite: start with the apps. I like to build a series of sample apps before starting on the API. This way I can imagine what API will make those apps and others like them easy to build.
• Talk with users! I don't like to sit in a back room cranking out code. I want to make sure it's the right code for what my users need, and that it's easy to maintain and improve as we learn more about what they want.

Built an end-to-end IoT monitoring system from ESP32 firmware to Django cloud backend — SPI, Modbus-RTU, ECDSA (secp256r1) device authentication, MQTT-over-WSS/TLS bypassing Cisco firewalls, mbedTLS, Docker + PostgreSQL infrastructure.
On the ML side: contributed to Sherpa-ONNX (11.2k stars), integrating Meta's Omnilingual v2 — PR merged in 2 hours. First 4-bit block-wise quantization pipeline for the project, 40% model size reduction. Besides this, optimized AI inference to run 2x faster than standard benchmarks on budget mobile chips ($150), used mmap and 16KB tensor alignment for low-level memory efficiency.
Security instincts: Top 4 at Talent Arena CTF (25k+ visitors); analyzed SIMD-obfuscated Rust binary using Ghidra/gdb. Codewars #427 globally (top 0.1%). Besides what's on the Resume, did other things like reverse-engineered a Windows binary to patch a null pointer dereference caused by an unimplemented legacy Touch API in Proton — two-instruction fix, SHA256-verified, no external tools required, where everyone classified it as borked / doesn't work. ProtonDB Link: https://www.protondb.com/app/360870
More sources for these claims (like the Sherpa-ONNX PR) and info on what I did on the resume.
I'm looking for monthly/yearly "no-strings" sponsors, not employment, if any individuals, companies (or bitcoin millionaires) would like to help out a long-time OpenBSD slacker, unslack, I'd really like to focus more of my time on my open source development (and advocacy) work, rather than just barely making rent.

I'm a data scientist with over 20 years of experience specializing in solving hair on fire problems. I thrive on gnarly problems AI can't complete even if walked through the problem step-by-step. Often it involves getting hands on or talking with staff to find the data that's really needed.
My past work includes:
I'm currently working on (semi) automating the DS loop, building workflows on top of BMAD method AI workflows. I say semi, because some problems you simply must get out of the office and speak with people or find data the AI doesn't have access to. Many problems will have e2e solves in an automated fashion.Things I'm unwilling to work on:

Open to remote, or hybrid in NYC/CT.
(I've been working on a major project in Go recently, to expand my horizons...it'll be deployed soon!)

Thanks!

Hi there!

Résumé: https://www.linkedin.com/in/eduardo-bellani/ https://ebellani.github.io/
Key achievements include: improving complex node graph drawing performance by 400%, rearchitecting the frontend of an AI-powered educational startup, creating a design system including the implementation of its component library used across multiple apps, and architecting an offline note-taking app.

What I do: I build agentic systems and full-stack infrastructure — things that ship, observe themselves, and run autonomously.
Recent work:
- Founding contributor at NimbleBrain: designed the agentic loop and workflow engine that guides AI agents through building and publishing MCP server integrations end-to-end
- Co-created Vispyr: self-hosted observability platform on AWS with automated infra provisioning, OTel instrumentation, and a full Grafana telemetry stack
- Mozilla Firefox contributor: accessibility and DevTools CSS refactors
Stack I reach for: Python, TypeScript, AWS, Docker, PostgreSQL, Grafana stack, OpenTelemetry, MCP
AI-native: I build with Claude Code daily. Comfortable across the agentic toolchain — RAG, vector DBs, MCP, context engineering.

Open to full time or contract.
I look forward to talking with you!

Hi. I'm Craig. I'm an experienced Senior Software Engineer, Systems Architect and Microsoft Certified Professional with a passion for software development.
I work primarily, but not exclusively, with Microsoft technologies and the .NET / .NET Core frameworks, leading complex and challenging enterprise software development projects to successfully deliver robust, secure, scalable and efficient software solutions, encompassing over 30 years of experience in the field.
An accomplished team leader, mentor and architect, I'm skilled at taking a leading role in the overall architecture of a project, in driving team developments and employing proven industry disciplines and best-practices to deliver successful software projects that frequently exceed client expectations.
I'm passionate about distributed systems design, CQRS and event sourcing and a proponent of domain-driven design to ensure that solutions are laser-focused on solving real business problems. I'm an open source enthusiast and advocate using the best and most appropriate tools available, providing for an effective and pragmatic solution that delivers genuine and quantifiable business value.
Throughout my career I've helped numerous businesses of varying sizes in varying industries get their technology investment right and I can do the same for you.
Recent projects include:
+ Architected and executed a comprehensive overhaul of a core legacy system, migrating it to a robust microservices architecture. By strategically applying Domain-Driven Design, CQRS, and Event Sourcing, we enabled a prominent African FinTech company to seamlessly scale from 1 million to 10 million active users while achieving a remarkable 30%+ reduction in cloud expenses.
+ Successfully delivered an ambitious project to re-engineer a number of monolithic applications to cloud-native, event-driven distributed services for a leading hospitality software provider as part of a company-wide effort to modernise their entire software estate including training and mentoring staff on event-driven architecture and distributed system design.
+ Designed & delivered a large, global SaaS product to manage and automate music royalty collection and payment for one of the UK's largest and most demanding independent music publishers including full cloud geo-distribution & redundancy to ensure high availability & reliability for the worldwide client base.
+ Spearheaded the creation of a groundbreaking anti-motor fraud solution for a prominent UK law firm. This industry-leading platform combined a user-friendly web application, powerful API, and sophisticated data systems, including Europe's largest anti-fraud database, giving the firm an edge in fraud detection.

I've been using Go as my primary language for the last nine years, although I don't overly care about the specific language and have experience with a wide variety of tools and languages such as Python, Ruby, PHP, C, JavaScript, Lua, and probably some more. While I've mainly focused on backend in the last few years, I also have written plenty of frontend code over the years, from the "pre-jQuery" days to VueJS.
In the last few years I mainly focused on GoatCounter (https://www.goatcounter.com) with the occasional contract job, but I'm keen to start working on something new for the longer term.
I've got quite a bit of code on my GitHub, so you can take a look at that if you want: https://github.com/arp242
