    Sorry to nitpick but when you model "plug in solar" which to me means a field deployed sealed one and done solution you plug into an AC socket in your house and it's automatically compliant with risk issues about behind the meter power and islanding and meets compliance by buying secondhand ex roof standalone PV units and a PSU and Management system discreetly and wire them up yourself with bricks to hold them stable on a flat roof, not mounted on a balcony like in Germany bought from IKEA.. you are not "doing plug in solar"

    Sure. Volts are volts. You read the specs. You probably make grade with some rough edges. This is not plug and go. This is BYO.
