I built UI Playground, an iPhone app for browsing and experimenting with iOS UI components.
The idea came from wanting a simple way to explore UI patterns and components individually instead of digging through sample projects or documentation. The app lets you quickly look at different components and interactions, which can be useful for learning SwiftUI or getting inspiration when designing mobile interfaces.
I mainly use it as a reference when prototyping or experimenting with UI ideas.
This is some free-to-play thing where only one component is unlocked and the rest require a "Premium" subscription. The lifetime purchase option is $149. What even.
I get that the "Free" button on the App Store is so enticing but I'm surprised I can't even play with the components even with absolutely no other features before paying.
i downloaded because it looked cool. but yeah paying for this is very disappointing when any ios dev knows that they could make this in a couple hours with claude.
But i respect the idea and it seems to be executed decently well

Happy to hear feedback or ideas for components to add.
