Youtube recently removed "by upload date" sorting. My assumption is that this allows them to have more time to run their various classifiers, before showing them to anyone, to help prevent seeing a wall of AI videos (which it was and somewhat still is).
Youtube might be entering it's last days if this plays out. Unless they can find some way to filter out all the AI spam video.
