For a lot of use cases, even 8Gb/512Gb will end up being horrifically constraining in the long haul.
I understand the simple screen, the reduced speakers, the reduced ports, the smaller battery, and pretty much every other design decision.
But RAM and drive space? Sorry, having a 16Gb/1Tb option would have made this a much more capable machine in terms of longevity relevance.
Everything else was a smart trade-off for the average user. This wasn’t.
