Is Harvard turning people “woke?”, or do left-leaning people just go to college more?

You become woke by accepting and learning about reality. Colleges teach people about reality. The right wing is distinctly anti-intellectual because they depend on ignorance to maintain support from the moderate right.

I started out far-right because I was indoctrinated that way. Then I got an education thinking I was already smarter than everyone. Then I started to see through the lies I had been raised with. Lies about non-white people. Lies about gay people. Lies about colonialism. Lies about industrialization. Lies about other countries. Lies about leftists. Then I woke up.

half of America thinks the public school system is there to turn kids gay and trans

No, "half" of America does not think that.

Also, is Harvard part of the "public school system" now?

          > Also, is Harvard part of the "public school system" now?

Pancake... waffle... Where in the statement do you see them saying that?

They were implying that the same people that think "public school system is there to turn kids gay and trans" are the same people that think that Harvard is "woke".

The latter. (Most) universities admit students who exhibit rationality, open-mindedness, curiosity, and a readiness to change one's mind in the face of new evidence. None of these traits are characteristic of conservatives, therefore academia is left-leaning.

Based on the quotes from Pete Hegseth in the article, wouldn’t this be a blatant violation of the first amendment? He mentions the content of their political ideas like globalism, as why they’re doing this. It’s also hard to believe that Harvard - one of the top institutions in the world - doesn’t improve their officers as he claims.

Improvement is subjective. They are terrified of warriors (shrug) who don’t think exactly like them.

Not sure how this would violate the 1st.
