Arresting journalists for protesting without any charges... All the trump supporters who wanted him to "cross the rubicon" now work for ICE and wanna do it for him

EDIT: for anyone that didn't read it. A magistrate judge refused to approve charges against him. ICE arrested him anyways

I think this is all a bit extreme, but I also think interrupting a church service, any religion, any church service, is absolutely abhorrent. So while arresting him is obnoxious, I don't have much sympathy for him.

I think you're missing some context. Don Lemon was there to document the protest

A magistrate judge refused to approve charges against him. The reason this is significant is that ICE is arresting him without any charges

The court already ruled that he should be let go. This is pure abuse of power.

And yes, journalists should be allowed to report on protests, even if government does not like the protest.

The best thing my fellow Americans can do is get to the ballot box in November and vote Democrat. Even if it’s inconvenient, even if you’re cynical about politics, even if you otherwise despise Democrats, and even if you think one vote makes no difference in your state—it absolutely does.

If we are successful, then Congress will achieve a sufficient majority to not only impeach, but convict Trump, and eject him and his cronies from office.

    This is the way.

      > you vote for Democrats in the mid-term elections (even if it leaves a bad taste in your mouth), then Congress achieves a sufficient majority to not only impeach, but convict Trump, and eject him and his cronies from office.

If those democrats act like forever enablers, none of that will happen. No impeachment will happen if the democratic leadership will be composed of Chuck Schumer "strike a deal, don't confront much and make sure republicans have enough votes for whatever they want" types. It is not just about democrats vs republicans. Plenty of democratic representatives eventually somehow always end up enabling whatever was going on, forgiving everything, voting for conservative heritage fund justices and funding.

Moderates will want to forget, pretend nothing happened, keep the changes and act all submissive.
