The flip side of this is that it’s an admission that Israel’s actions were indeed wrong and that they know it. Whatever justified response they may have had, they clearly eclipsed that.

If the response was not wrong and was indeed appropriate and proportionate then there would be no need to erase the Gazan victims to stack the historical deck in Israel’s favor.

You mean the Gazan civilians living in a densely populated area governed by a group of insane 9th century theocrats who launched a war they knew they couldn't win militarily with the objective of using their own citizens as human shields?

Yeah, they should be remembered, and Hamas should be remembered for refusing to surrender the hostages and letting them get slaughtered while they hid in their tunnels.

Palestinians are an agrarian society that is trying to survive an attempted colinisation by a cult who's main reason to exist is Palestinian genocide. Zionism=Genocide. That a zionist, pompeo, would suggest erasure of that genocideal record is unfortunatly, predictable. As a muslim, who has faced the mindless hate of islamists from one side, and right wing racisim on the other, I fully understand the predicament that modern jews find themselves in and aplaud there principaled and adament refusal to partisipate or remain silent.
