True, with that being said a 7.0 earthquake may not be so damaging, I don't know, but it just reminds me of the devastation caused by the 2004 tsunami in far off places from where the epicenter was. I hope that's not the case here (that one was bigger, of course)
That isn't uncommon for that area. Very few people live there, so damage should be minimal regardless.
