I would just generally speaking say I'm not a person who deals in absolutes over nuance. It's probably why I'm not the head of a defense organization or a politician. I can somewhat see the value in saying - I'm going to support Israel, or I'm going to support the United States. I'm just not sure looking through history that any of these conflicts are actions will be looked back kindly upon.
Sure, Biden fucked up on immigration, but to turn it around and thinking flooding the streets with ice agents is a reasonable counter-point to that; I don't see any way the negative externalities don't exceed the intended benefits. Anything beyond a diligent and ardent application of the law is hubris; and I don't see how one can look at the twentieth century and see anything but the way hubris has resulted in mistaken conflicts over and over again. And to watch a bunch of people double down is whackadoodle. But then again, how is Palantir going to survive without the omniwar.
