Who is the the group deciding on how the price action during the day goes? Don't tell me it isn't pre-decided, is it Jane Street?
Anyone smart enough and powerful enough to make it happen deliberately is up against a lot of other similarly smart people pulling in other directions, making it mostly random.
When it stops being random, the Onion Futures Act gets amended.
