    This article shows we can't expect universities and journals to police themselves,they have a massive conflict of interest in protecting their own reputations.

    This isn't just "misconduct," it's a fraud enterprise built on taxpayer money. The only solution is severe, external consequences, just like any other white-collar crime.

      The collapse of information is developed from the basis of explanation.

      Each level requiring policing simply demonstrates the flaw was invented at the earlier stages.

    With or without capitalism, a good scientist will produce good research, and a bad scientist will produce bad research. But in order for a good scientist to produce bad research, that requires profit-at-all-costs capitalism.
