For a moment I hoped Borland’s Object Windows Library got resurrected https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Object_Windows_Library
Hmm, so they're not really building a browser at all, just an application that uses a browser for you.
That makes sense. I assumed they were allergic to doing any kind of hard/serious work, and they are.
Using technology involves trusting its creators and its nature.
LLMs are untrustworthy for many uses of a browser. And OpenAI needs to do whatever it takes to recover a huge capital outlay, so they are not your friends.
Sad to opt out, but hard pass for now.
