At the end of the day, you are reading signals coming over the wire. So they can be spoofed. You are now in the same scenarios as radar guns vs. radar detectors, constantly having to one-up each other as each side figures out improvements.
If you want to play that game, that is your call... but this is definitely not a "create it once and the problem is solved" scenario.
Agreed. The goal isn’t to make it completely unspoofable, just to raise the cost and shrink the scale, making the kind of large-scale botting we see today more difficult.
