    How is this any different than what already happens. You already get your photo and in some cases a finger print when entering the USA. I am a US citizen and get have to give my photo at the airport for even a domestic flight. Everyone is photographed when crossing into the US from Canada by land or air. In Europe they are doing this also for anyone who is not an EU Citizen, how is this news?

      The news is that it removes the exemptions for children and the elderly. And enables DNA collection.

      FYI if you're a US citizen, you can opt out of the biometric photo review. Of course there's still plenty of CCTV elsewhere.

        I don't believe you can opt out when traveling internationally.
