The costs seem to be low enough that you can just sign up for an account for a month on them, see how you like a few, and settle on the one you like best, and cancel the others.
For me, I've been using Github's Copilot, which somehow gets me access to ChatGPT5 through Visual Studio Code. It's $10 per month at this time, and well worth it for recreational use.
