The book they use to support their argument, The Road to Serfdom, it’s main point is refuted by the Nordic democracies, this is brought up by the 2024 Nobel Prize winners in their book, The Narrow Corridor.

Only insofar as they assert a shackled leviathan can also be despotic.

Which can be true albeit less likely.

They dispute The Road to Serfdom's conclusion that any sort of social programs like that the which Nordic countries have would lead to an authoritarian regime, they argue there's always a red queen race between society and state for power and there are many avenues so to speak to get to the sweet spot in "The Narrow Corridor" and being dogmatic like The Road to Serfdom is not productive thinking.

the fiscal conservatives want to avoid taking responsibility for having been a part of electing trump, and now seek to blame society itself for what they have themselves wrought, and they invoke a sacred ancient authors pluggable quote machine to attempt to pass trump 2 off as inevitable.

well, i can also look at market tickers, but the difference is that i knew trump was a bad economic idea before November.

sometimes you should pay attention to the words exiting the mouth of a would be politician instead of clinging to the same tribalism Hayek mentioned

Tell me you're talking about current affairs without telling me you're talking about current affairs..

I would add that kleptocracy, while distinct, is not excluded, because the klepts can be kak handed.
