An interesting post history. He seemed to post exclusively in near-empty subreddits he created. It's an eclectic mix.

RIP Dr Marshall Brain.
I hadn't been to howstuffworks.com in years. It's...very different now. Much more ad heavy, sensational, "the fourth one will amaze you", "doctors hate #7", and just icky in a way I don't remember it being ten years ago.
Manna shaped a lot of my worldview on tech and humanity. People with vision like that are extremely rare.
He will be sorely missed.
I don't think that suicide thing is confirmed. The other day they said cardiac arrest. Who knows.
But he has written some really good books, such as https://marshallbrain.com/manna1
I wonder... https://marshallbrain.com/the-case-for-euthanizing-everyone-...
Manna is such a prescient reading.
Indeed. I fear we may not make it to the second half of the book, but we gotta keep trying.
Just watched this recent video - quite moving. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Ua6IUZKN58
Rest in peace Marshall
