Ontopic: Very disappointing, especially the actual reason - find it ridiculous. The worse is, Linus is very silent on the topic, this is the most saddening. Is anyone, I really hoped that he would put his foot down on this one, instead of standing by this witch hunt (even if only silently, so far)
And of course, the elephant in the room: that exchange was nothing unusual on LKML. And compared to Linus 1.0, one could even call it cordial.
