>One of these tests is the Big-Five Personality test. This test is a valid test and confirmed through hundreds of papers as reliable. This personality test was coined by Meyers-Briggs in the early 1900s and identified five major factors of personality: openness, extroversion, conscientiousness, neuroticism and agreeableness (Shiota, 2018, chapter 13)
Not my field, but this seems plain wrong. Did a bit of Googling and it doesn't sound like the Meyers-Briggs' had anything to do with Big 5?
"In this paper the link between these personality traits, particularly neuroticism, will be linked to a new phenomenon: social media addiction and its relation to amygdala activation ..."
You're gonna link the link? Hunh? The confusing writing and lack of peer review makes me think this "paper" is probably worthless.

Correct. This under-researched article was written by an undergrad for an undergrad journal.

And yet you, like me, who also doubt it's worth, participate in the addictive HN front page threads. Curious.
Title should have 2020.
