Looks like 18.2 (beta) already has far more major changes. A couple that stood out to me were new CSS support for View Transitions and many other declarations, and WebAssembly (WASM) support for garbage collection and tail calls.

Safari on Mac keeps freezing when I open pages from the TypeScript Handbook, and the latest release hasn’t resolved this issue:

FWIW, this page works fine in Safari 18.2 (via macOS 15.2 beta).
