The e-reader technology is one that excites me a lot.
It seems like the Kindle color has a different tech to the one used by Kobo.
Personally, I'm waiting for a smartphone sized e-reader with a colour screen. There's one from bigme but it's using older tech, so not that good.
I think Amazon entering the color space will shake the industry a bunch. It will force others to meet the quality of the Kindle. Exciting!
